collaborative film with Nigel Coutinho
yardhouse examines the roles of assumed, yet often overlooked structural objects. The multi-movement multimedia work serves as a slowly confining exploration of security, failure, humor and power through an imagined site. Each movement works to expose the often unnoticed but highly influential modes of psychology that the structures in our most treasured and intimate spaces govern. Using film and sound, yardhouse exposes the overlooked and unnoticed while enveloping the gallery visitor in its own intimate space.
